GGA was selected to provide pre-construction, construction, and FF&E management for the Tru hotel, a new midscale brand by Hilton. Groundbreaking took place in June 2018 in Georgetown, Delaware.
The 90 room, four-story, wood framed hotel will be simplified, spirited, and grounded in value, providing a true reflection of the Hilton brand pillars.
The lobby will be a 2,857 SF area divided into four zones for eat, work, play, and lounge. It’s designed to foster connections with fellow travels, relax, or find a quiet area to work alone. The area will serve as a central command center with built-in marketplace sits in the heart of the space. The hotel will also offer a fitness center.
Tru’s exterior will consist of an angular pylon displaying Tru’s logo and marking the main entrance, and will feature a 10 ft overhang acting as a streamline porte cochere.
