The Rehoboth Beach Country Club project consisted of a total interior renovation of the existing Club, including three additions to make room for expanded dining, a new second floor terrace, new pool and deck, new snack shack, and locker rooms.

To improve the Club members’ dining experience, two new commercial kitchens were introduced, new walk-in boxes and hood systems for each kitchen were installed, and a wood fired pizza oven was installed in the family dining room, overlooking the bay. Five full service bars were added, highlighted by upscale millwork and stone tops. The kitchens and bars accommodate all dining room service, along with banquet services.

Men’s and women’s locker rooms were renovated to include new sitting rooms, shower rooms, saunas, and changing areas with solid wood lockers. In addition, fireplaces were added to four areas throughout the Club, including the lounge areas of both men’s and women’s locker room facilities.

The second floor of the facility received a full renovation of the ballroom, including a sizable stretched fabric ceiling with a large chandelier as the focal point.

Outdoors, GGA completed a new pool and pool house, along with a brand new full service snack bar, and lifeguard facilities. The pool is competition sized, with six lanes, start blocks, and a diving well. Pool restrooms and locker areas were added to include showers and changing spaces. New decks were constructed around the pool to provide additional sun bathing areas and views of the bay.

In order to enhance the upscale costal design, GGA installed specialty light fixtures throughout the project. Antique mirrors were installed throughout the building, along with brass details at all bar locations. All new exterior storefront windows and doors were added on the bayside exteriors to capture views of the bay.

GGA utilized extensive millwork throughout the building. Features include coffered ceilings, wainscoting, crown molding, and built-in banquet seating. All trim was custom milled from poplar and a millworker’s shop offsite. Value engineering for general lighting and plumbing fixtures were provided to maintain the overall budget.
